一些衣索比亞的地名 ኢትዮጵያ:: የቦታዎች ስሞች

這個周末整理了一下之前喝過的伊索比亞 咖啡 (ቡና)，發現基本上常見的咖啡產區就是那些地方。很合理，畢竟一個國家除了主力外銷農產品之外，還有著許許多多不同的產業，然後適合生產的土地就那些。
但是一邊整理突然就在意起這些地名用當地語言該怎麼稱呼!? 於是有了這篇，存放相關訊息:

首先伊索比亞當地用語主要為 Amharic (አማርኛ)

根據 wiki:

從 wiki地圖可以看到 Ethiopia 和 Yemen 有很強烈的(文化)連接，難怪葉門會成為世界第二個咖啡引用國，仔細想想這個應該又跟傳說中的 阿克蘇姆之王 negus Caleb, Kaleb of Axum：ካሌብ እለ አጽብሐ 有關係!


地下的名詞都經過了數次的驗證，不過畢竟我不通 Amharic 使用時還是要小心

豆知識：

另外，最近在日本 KOBI 的資料中看到 Yirgachefe ይርጋጨፌ 是指『イルガチェフェとは現地の言葉で「湿地とその草」』濕地與其中的草．真是有意思，第一次學到這個

（然後我就興起了查 Amharic dictionary 的念頭）

還有 coffee 在當地叫 ቡና (buna ) 傳到阿拉伯語境之後好像轉成 bunn 對，那個常見的自動咖啡沖煮機的 bunn 

然後查了更多的字典

1. Ethiopia 

Ethiopia:  Latin Aethiopia, from Greek Aithiopia, from Aithiops. 

Ethiop (n.):  late 14c., from Latin Æthiops "Ethiopian, negro," from Greek Aithiops, long supposed in popular etymology to be from aithein "to burn" + ops "face" (compare aithops "fiery-looking," later "sunburned").    Who the Homeric Æthiopians were is a matter of doubt. 2. ይርጋጨፌ (Yirgachefe)

ይርጋ /yäräga/ : 
n.steady，人名，Lace-painted wood. （不確定到底是什麼？）

ጨፌ /CH'äfe/ :
n. meadow, rush（確實有濕地的意思，蘆薈，不過根據 Amharic 解釋，他似乎還有豐饒土地的意味在）


3. ከፋ (Keffa)

ከፋ /käfa/ :
v. be bad, be evil, be unhappy, be in a bad humor, wicked, became worse, became bad（............ 感覺不太正面，哈哈）


4. Gesha (ጌሻ)

這個非常非常不確定，但是值得放在這裡

ጌሻ /gesha/

ከጊሚራ መንጭቶ ወደ ነጭ ዐባይ የሚገባ ጌሻ ወንዝ።
Flushing from Gumira to White River, Gye River.

印象中，很久以前有讀過 Gesha 是在兩條河的交會處（然後向北流）地點的名字．不過完全不記得細節還有在哪裡讀過了？

5. Guji (ጉጂ)

.........這個字典直接有意思了，不過好負面，真的是這個嗎？


6. Addis Ababa (አዲስ አበባ)

wiki[E] 說 Addis Ababa 是指 『新開的花』果然其來有自；另外 Oromo 好像叫這裡 Finfinne 意味著 "natural spring"



還是有很多很多可以挖掘的呀～
